I teach English at the Language Institute of the University
of Konstanz, which is down in the south of Germany, right
on the Swiss border. I have been doing that for a long time
and thought it would be a good idea to make more generally
available some of what I have learnt and taught, especially
since copies of handouts disappear from my pinboard like hot
cakes.
Apart from that: I was born in Scotland, have kept my Scottish
accent, and thoroughly enjoy teaching Area Studies Scotland.
